Synopsis (translation): History of Art from the Mid Century to the 20th Century discusses the development of Western art from the Mid Century to the modern era. It has been compiled to address the lack of reference books on art history in the Malay language, thus helping students who are not proficient in English to approach this field in a more meaningful way. 

This book has been arranged based on lectures on Introductions to Art History that is commonly taught as a compulsory subject in schools all over the world. Thus, it is established based on introductory books on the field of Art History that are the main text in many institutions of higher learning. In fact, some parts of this book have been based on dynamic and independent translations that the writer had done solely for the purposes of education and dissemination of knowledge to students and readers.
